Advanced Plasma Power (APP) operates a working scale version of the 170,000 tonnes per year of Commercial, Industrial, and/or Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Gasplasma® plant. APP operates the Gasplasma® facility to test waste feedstocks, supplied by clients, helping to maximise the efficiency of the fuel used in the full-scale energy from waste plant.

 

Using plasma technology coupled with gasification, this unique facility enables APP to investigate the transformation of wastes into syngas, Plasmarok®, heat and power in support of client and government-sponsored programmes, often as a prelude to the supply of major capital equipment. This process is supported by all the necessary services and utilities, under the appropriate regulatory approvals from the UK Environment Agency and backed up by comprehensive data acquisition and external chemical analysis services.
